Plot details and set photos from the production of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" has been making the rounds on the Internet. Ahead of its much-anticipated release on March 25, 2015, another set photo revealing Henry Cavill in character has recently caught fans' attention.

Screenrant had previously posted a photo comparison of Superman's costume in "Man of Steel" with the version in "Batman V Superman." However, this is actually the first time the actor was spotted on the set dressed in his superhero character.

Superman actor Henry Cavill was photographed by fans as he was making his way to his trailer, MTV News reports. The Wrap adds the actor made minimal effort in hiding the Kryptonian costume he wore underneath the black robe. This is reportedly to be expected since fans already know what Superman looks like. However, a closer look at the costume reveals a slight difference from the superhero's suit in "Man of Steel."

Henry Cavill's "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" costume is overstated in terms of painting according to MTV News. From the photo fans can see a clear exaggeration of the superhero's musculature. The Wrap adds Superman's new costume reveals he is more toned and bulkier than he was in "Man of Steel."

MTV claims it's uncertain why Henry Cavill would wear a new costume since the suit reportedly originated from an 18,000-year old ship. The Wrap writer, Jason Hughes, suggests it could be an indication "of the additional years he's spent soaking up the rays of Earth's yellow sun." Or Superman may have discovered a Kryptonian tailor in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." Apparently fans will never know the answer until the movie comes out. But Superman's new costume will reportedly give ample time for some fanboys and fangirls to come up with some interesting details about its differences from the "Man of Steel" version.

In an interview with USA Today movie director Zack Snyder reportedly claimed "Cavill is definitely more comfortable in the role the second time around."

"The more time I spend with Henry, the more he's Superman to me," he said.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" also stars Ben Affleck (Batman) and Gal Gadot (Wonderwoman) among others.
