The upcoming first-person shooter game BF4 or Battlefield 4 for Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 is on a comeback trail. Representatives of the game confirm the return of "Commander Mode" along with "All Out War! Vehicle Combat" mode and 3 playable factions - the U.S., China and Russia.

Commander Mode Returns
The much-loved game series confirms the return of Commander Mode on their promotional material. In addition, three playable factions had been confirmed to have single-player campaigns - the United States, China, and Russia.

Multiplayer Update
Battlefield 4 is expected to be launched in the later part of 2013, and the new game series will include a multiplayer mode update. According to the official Battlefield Twitter page, a representative confirmed this update for premium members to gain exclusive access to the beta test for Battlefield 4.

"If you are a premium member then you will gain access to the exclusive Battlefield 4 Beta. We will be announcing more details on the exclusive Battlefield 4 Beta at another later time," the Examiner.com quoted the statement.

Motion Control Flushed Down
DICE considers Motion Control as a gimmick only, thus, Battlefield 4 will never have such feature in the game.

"We are not interested in things that don't make the game better. There are a lot of gimmicks - people throwing money at us - can you implement support for this quirky control thing? No, it doesn't make the game better," statement from Patrick Bach, executive producer of Battlefield 4 was quoted by TweakTown.

Bach also stated that DICE is "extremely open to innovation" but gimmicks are something they are not interested in. He is not totally against motion control if it actually enhances the game play of players and would help improve the quality of gaming experience.

What Features Do Other Players Want?

1. Add Dedicated Mod Support
Battlefield 2 lasted long for having modding community supporting the game. Project Reality and Forgotten Hope 2 brought variations to the gameplay, keeping the game alive even with the six years gap to Battlefield 3.

2. In-Game Server Browser Improvement
With the upcoming multiplayer mode for premium members, Battlefield 4 is expected to have a convenient and stable in-game server browser which won't confuse players.

3. Realistic Factors
Although it sounds violent and ugly, realistic sound effect and graphics with some physics for volley of explosives as an example, in-town or out add plus factors to Battlefield 4.

4. Some Tutorial Please
Sometimes, players do not pilot certain complex system such as jets or helicopters due to lack of instructions. Bots are one way to teach players to learn in-game features to become masters of the game. If not, a dedicated tutorial system would be nice.
