'Better Call Saul' season 4: The Salamanca cousins are back
New promo pictures and trailer of “Better Call Saul” season 4 have been released online. The deadly Salamanca cousins are back, as the drug trade angle of the TV series picks up heat. Meanwhile, Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) will be under suspension from practicing law, and he will have to deal with the death of his brother.
Jimmy’s transformation into Saul Goodman will pickup pace after the death of his brother. The first promo picture of the next season posted on ComingSoon shows the character wearing his happy face as a mask to hide his grief and sorrow.
The most significant teaser pictures are that of the Salamanca cousins. Marco (Luis Moncada) and Leonel (Daniel Moncada) were an important part of the “Breaking Bad” TV series, and now they are back in the spin-off. The brothers will get into some action with Nacho (Michael Mando).
Gus (Giancarlo Esposito) will also be back, taking care of his fried chicken chain of stores and dealing drugs on the side. Jimmy will be under a one-year suspension from practicing law, and he will be seen in his tracksuit, trying to make some money by getting a few clients. He will continue to work with Mike (Jonathan Banks), and start getting into helping drug dealers, transitioning into the character the fans meet in “Breaking Bad.”
Jimmy’s actions will have consequences on his relationship with Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn). After her injury, Kim will rest at home for the most part of the season. The character will be seen healing slowly, and she may get back to work by the end of the season.
A promo trailer of the next season posted on YouTube shows Kim having an angry exchange with Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian). It remains to be seen just how much her business has suffered in her absence, and what her job prospects are, if she wants to go back to that life.
