Bieber and Gaga Hailed As Early Winners At MTV Awards

The most recent MTV awards in Belfast became a victory party for artists like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber as the two got the top prizes which include the best act for male and female artists.

Gaga, as ever was present with all her striking costumes throughout the whole night and she also grabbed the best song and video for her song 'Born This Way'. On the other hand, Bieber grabbed the best act for pop. The two artists also stood out with their unique performances with Bieber being the all time cute teenager and Gaga with her sexually aggressive concept.

The rest of the awards for the night went to Eminem, Katy Perry, and also Bruno Mars. The event also paid tribute to the Queen by giving them the Global Icon award that it can be compared to some kind of lifetime achievement award. The show was closed with the best and most classic song of Queen like 'We are the Champions' along with 'We Will Rock You'.

The event also turned out to be a wonderful time for Belfast to recover peace after suffering from numerous years of sectarian violence. The show also featured a tribute to Amy Winehouse through a special video who passed away early this year in London too.

But still, Gaga and Bieber became the crowd's favorites of the night. Bieber thanked all his fans and even said in his speech, "Never say never, right?" as he held his trophy up. He also expressed his care and gratitude for his fans and sticking with him despite the many 'internet crap' that has been roaming around these days, with him being a father to a child out of a one night stand.

Lady Gaga accepted her award with much elegance and sophistication with her odd silver dress and an oversize hat that covers her face. "Thank you so much, I love you so much. I'm so grateful. I'm really smiling right now, but I know you can't tell," Gaga said in her acceptance speech.

Eminem won the best hip hop act while Linkin Park was hailed the best rock band. The awards ceremony was hosted by none other than the love of Justin's life, Selena Gomez.
