“Big Brother Australia” intruder Justynn is more than just a rough-looking lumberjack. Just as what the producers of the Nine Network reality show had done to Tim, they had also hidden from the public Justynn Harcourt’s real background: an actor!

The 33-year-old intruder was introduced to the Australian viewers as a very manly man lumberjack who promised to take down Tim in his own game. And true enough, he managed to stir the dynamics of the remaining housemates, ruffling the feathers of even the most agreeable occupants.

He may seem burly and even nasty, but underneath his scruffy exterior lies the heart of an actor.

Here’s a tweet from a viewer that says Justynn is an actor and a model:

Talk about rigged! Don't fall for @BBAU9 lies! 'Justynn' is no lumberjack @BBAULIVE @BBAU13Topics #BBAU pic.twitter.com/x7RLVkxPqv

So is his tough persona just an act? Perhaps so. After all, he has said from the very start that he’s there to play a game. And he’s playing it so well that many viewers have already formed a strong negative opinion of him.

He has created an extremely unlikeable character of himself in the house that people in and out of the house keep talking about him. He has even overshadowed fellow intruder Nathan with his tough guy act.

But does that mean that the show’s rigged?

Not necessarily. Maybe the producers had intentionally hidden from the public Justynn’s occupation as an actor, but that doesn’t mean that he is being paid to act as a housemate in the famous house.

As the blog Leesalittle.com pointed out, Justynn is really a lumberjack. He just happens to be an actor, too. His day job is as the owner of a one-man tree service company, so technically, his “lumberjack” profession is not just a made-up thing.

His IMDB profile is lacking of film credits except for one short film titled “Homeless Man.” That doesn’t prove that the producers had rigged the show by sending an actor in the house. It just makes Justynn’s motive in entering the Big Brother house more obvious: to help his career grow by gaining publicity.

The question remains, though: why did the show hide Justynn’s other occupation to the public? Did they think that by being open about sending an actor in would make the show look simulated? If so, that’s really ironic since by doing the opposite, some viewers are now convinced that it’s indeed simulated.

Whatever the reasoning behind it, it seems that the show has a penchant for hiding the housemate’s real identity.

Remember how they also hid Tim’s other occupation?

The resident jester and puppet-master was introduced as a university student who is taking more than ten years to finish his science course. But while that’s true, the show left out one glaring fact: Tim is also a DJ and a presenter of a defunct music show.

He’s also more famously known as the streaker who ran on Rihanna’s tour plane in 2012.

Why the producers felt that Tim should be presented as a simple student is anybody’s guess. But by doing so, they just courted speculations that they have rigged the show by throwing in someone in their payroll.

Such theory has already died down after Tim proved to be a mischief-making housemate intent on stirring the pot. So now it’s Justynn’s turn to be gossiped upon, which can only mean a good thing for him.

Whether or not he will continue to infuriate and baffle housemates and viewers alike in the house is yet to be seen on Monday when the intruder elimination night airs. He is currently competing for viewers’ votes against Nathan on who gets to stay in the house for at least a week more.

But whatever the result is, the house’s dynamic will once again shift as the surviving intruder and the rest of the housemates are introduced to another intruder, this time, in the form of a beautiful female lawyer named Madaline.
