“Big Brother Australia” Showdown and nomination swap episode has seen Jade’s former and current men, Drew and Ed, making big impact on her life in the house. Also, the housemates attempted to break up Drew and Tully (Drully).

Drew nominated faux ex-wife Jade for two points on Tuesday night’s nomination episode, clearly showing that he was over their fake marriage. But it seemed that he has redeemed himself after winning the Showdown on Wednesday (aired Thursday).

As the winner, he had the power to swap a nominated housemate with a safe one. Perhaps feeling guilty over being partly the reason why Jade was nominated or just because there’s no other better choice, Drew chose to save Jade.

Unfortunately, saving someone from the firing line meant putting someone in that person’s place. Drew decided to put Matthew to take Jade’s place in the nomination line-up.

And that pissed off Ed, who chose Jade over Tim to be up for eviction during nomination time.

Ed, Jade’s sometimes lover, claimed he was feeling guilty over sending Jade to the nomination line with him. He even cried in the Diary Room to Big Brother.

But apparently, he wasn’t feeling as guilty as he let on. He was more concerned that his best bud Matthew is up for eviction than Jade being safe.

Why wasn’t he glad about the new development? Drew wondered as much to Jade, who also had no idea why her prince charming couldn’t be happy that someone saved her after from the dreaded red bench after he himself put her there.

Meanwhile, Drew decided to bring Ben along to the Presidential Suite. Instead of bringing Tully, he went with the pyjama-loving housemate, who was the only one who hadn’t been in the Presidential Suite yet.

As evicted housemate Rohan tweeted, “Good guy drew!”

Tully’s negativity in the house has been affecting everyone, and they wanted to do something about it. They thought that part of her attitude had something to do with her relationship with Drew. Matthew tried to talk to Tully about her negative attitude in the house, but Tully was having none of his “lecture.” Tim also tried to tell her that she was being overly sensitive, but he gave up when Tully became defensive. Mikkayla was “talked out of talking to Tully and Drew,” though, so she couldn’t offer any help as well. Even Tahan admitted to Big Brother that she was having a hard time being honest with Tully because she would just take it personally. Well, at least Caleb, the fifth evicted housemate, commended his BFF Matthew for his effort.

Good on ya Matt. Tell Tully like it is. I tried to when i was in the house — FiremanCaleb (@FiremanCaleb) September 12, 2013
