American rapper Kanye West has recently made his presence felt in Armenia when he staged a free concert for his fans. It appears that apart from his fans around the globe, even his peers in the United States are pulling for an appearance by the rapper. The new ABC comedy series “Black-ish” is getting ready to wrap up its first season and the cast wants a Yeezus cameo on the show. Similarly, singer Justin Bieber is also being eyed for an appearance.

The Hollywood Reporter interviewed the cast of “Black-ish” in this year’s Emmy panel, and Tracee Ellis Ross explained what her plans are should Kanye drop in. Ross plays the role of Rainbow, the famly matriarch and wife to Andre Johnson, the main character played by Anthony Anderson.

“I think he should be a doctor working with my character, Rainbow. Dre [Anderson] gets worried Rainbow is going to have an affair with him, but Rainbow has no interest,” explains Ross. Whether or not Kim Kardashian’s husband can play a convincing home-wrecking doctor remains to be seen. Nevertheless, other members of the cast also have their own bets when it comes to possible guest stars.

Apart from Kanye, Ross also mentioned her desire to work with Will Ferrel and Kristen Wig on the show. Marcus Scribner, who plays the Johnson couple’s eldest son Andre Junior, is thinking about working with his heroes Robert De Niro and Morgan Freeman.

Series creator Kenya Barris has ideas of her own. She is looking at the possibility of bringing in guest stars like Maya Rudolph and Justin Bieber. She thinks that Bieber’s appearance in the show and in the life of the Johnson’s teenage daughter Zooey can be a formula for a lot of laughs and an interesting episode. With Andre’s overprotective personality, Barris thinks that Bieber can really shake things up for the family if he enter’s Zooey’s life.

Another big idea that was brought up during the interview is a crossover with ABC’s highly successful comedy series “Modern Family.” With the Johnsons meeting the Pritchetts, Delgados, Tuckers and Dunphys, the possibilities are endless. Barris says that she had already spoken to “Modern Family” creator Steve Levitan about the idea and she still doesn’t know if it will happen but she would love it if it did.

“Black-ish” currently airs Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. on ABC right after “Modern Family.” Should the crossover show materialise, a one-hour special would be an interesting possibility.
