'Black Sails' Season 3 episode 5 spoilers: Spanish gold may bring trouble to Nassau [Watch Video]
The Spanish gold at Nassau will be a cause for some concern in “Black Sails” Season 3 episode 5. Meanwhile, Flint will come up with a strategy to secure the freedom of his crew members.
[Spoiler alert]
The preview video of the next episode shows Captain Benjamin Hornigold (Patrick Lyster) telling Woodes Rogers (Luke Roberts) that they have managed to secure a sizable portion of the gold on Nassau. However, the gold belongs to Spain and the pirates who were forced to flee may still come back under Flint’s (Toby Stephens) leadership.
“England takes whatever it wants. They will come for more,” Flint warns. Flint was not present when the British attacked Nassau and he had accurately predicted the fall of Nassau. Time is running out for Flint and his crew and he will have to find a way out of their prison, before they are all killed.
Flint will decide to appeal to the queen of their captors directly in the next episode. John Silver (Luke Arnold) had suggested using the queen’s daughter to break their captors into opposing factions and exploit the situation.
Meanwhile, Blackbeard (Ray Stevenson) will show Charles Vane (Zach McGowan) the way forward in “Black Sails” Season 3. The two characters will focus their efforts on piracy together once again.
Anne (Clara Paget) and Rackham (Toby Schmitz) on the other hand will be on the road with their share of the gold. Pictures of the next episode posted on Spoiler TV show the two characters using a cart to carry their things. There are also pictures of Blackbeard and Vane in some action sequences.
Woodes appears to be taking over the role of governor of the island in “Black Sails” Season 3 episode 5. One of the pictures shows him making a speech at what appears to be Nassau.
