Rachael Leahcar, an 18-year-old blind teenager, made a huge impact with the premiere episode of 'The Voice Australia.' She left all four coaches a jaw dropping performanc without even being aware of it.

The singer, who hails from Adelaide said that she did not even know if any of the four judges turned around after she sang 'La Vie en Rose' during the blind audition stage. All the emotions from four celebrity coaches went to a high as each of them wanted to have the young lass to their teams.

Leahcar chose to be in the team of the only female coach, Delta Goodrem, with the reason that Goodrem was her inspiration for her pursuit for music. She expressed all her gratitude to Goodrem even saying that she wouldn't be as good as they heard her if not for the singer.

It was definitely a moment that can be compared to the very day that Susan Boyle was discovered. It only took about 80 seconds for the blind contestant to put the entire land of Down Under into tears. Her blindness was explained to have been a degenerative disorder.

Delta Goodrem returned the good compliments by saying that Rachael is truly extraordinary and that her voice left her with no choice but to turn her chair around.
