‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ cast update: Ashleigh Brewer returns as Ivy; Anthony Turpel debuts as Brooke and Ridge’s son
A new sexy Hispanic female character to be introduced
CBS’ long-running soap “The Bold and the Beautiful” (“B&B”) is beefing up its cast with a returning troublemaker, a long-lost son and a mysterious new character.
Australian actress Ashleigh Brewer is set to stir the pot yet again as she reprises her role as Ivy Forrester after months of being absent on the daytime television drama. Following her last appearance on January this year, the 26-year-old brunette beauty is set to make her way back on Wednesday, Aug.31.
Her character’s return is expected to further heat up the ongoing chaotic family feud among the Forresters. Those who are following “B&B” know that Eric Forrester (John McCook) shocked his loved ones after announcing his relationship with Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer). Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is the most affected of her grandfather’s decision, that even made her leave Quinn’s son, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks).
Daytime Confidential reported that fans can also look forward to the introduction of young actor Anthony Turpel. He is set to play Ridge "RJ" Forrester Jr, the teenage son of Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Fans wonder how RJ would affect his parents’ mission to acquire Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) shares in Forrester Creations. Bill, on the other hand, is not going to give his shares that easily – he wants Brooke to marry him first.
Prior to joining “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Turpel appeared in various roles in “Henry Danger,” “Future Shock” and “Comedy Bang! Bang!” He is set to make his soap debut on Sep.14. According to the site, there’s also an ongoing search for someone to be cast as Isabel, a Hispanic woman aged 45 to 50 years old and is described as “sexy and irreverent.”
