An epic showdown between two feisty women seems to be main event of “The Bold and Beautiful” (“B&B”) on its next episode. On Wednesday, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) tries to resolve the ongoing issues with her brother. As if she doesn’t have too much on her plate, Steffy is also about to come across her future rival.

Spoilers suggest that she’ll soon encounter Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and things will expectedly turn ugly between them. Steffy may be feeling cocky about her ongoing success, but Sally doesn’t seem to be the type to easily give up. TV Guide reports that on Wednesday’s episode of “B&B,” Steffy invites Thomas out for lunch at Il Giardino as she tries to sort out the sibling rivalry they’re having over Forrester Creations. Speaking of the family business, Wyatt quits his job there so he could move on without being with Steffy. The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Feb. 8 episode [watch below]. It features scenes with Sally, Wyatt and Bill.

Sally opens the scene as she makes a bold statement. “When we pull this off, we’re going to be the toast of the fashion world,” she says. “I’m going to have millions of followers all over the world, begging for my autograph and my designs.” Elsewhere, Wyatt informs Bill that he just resigned from Forrester. “I had a good run, but it’s too difficult to be around Steffy right now.”

"The Bold and the Beautiful" recap

On Tuesday, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) confessed to Bill that she went to Italy to see her daughter, but her reasons for staying a bit longer was driven by something else. She said she wanted some time alone to clear her head, making Bill believe that she’s having second thoughts about marrying Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). Bill wonders what she realised after her trip, but Brooke just sighed in response. Bill reckoned it means she’s still choosing to be with Ridge, but said he’s not giving up.

Elsewhere, Steffy talked to her brother about her upcoming wedding. He looked non-committal, making her wonder what’s bugging him. Thomas expressed his frustrations over her appointment as CEO, citing that she doesn’t have any experience in the design aspect of the business. He revealed that he’s mulling over starting his own company, mentioning that Sally Spectra is doing the same. He said that the position was something he worked his entire life for and she got it just like that. After his bitter tirade, Thomas walked off, leaving Steffy dumbfounded.
