‘The Bold And The Beautiful' spoilers for May 12: Ridge loses his grip on his family and career; two men accuse him of stealing
Fans are in for a highly emotional episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful” on Thursday. Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) world as he knows it is slowly crumbling down, both on the personal and professional aspects. His family life is on the verge of being broken, in light of recent circumstances including the kidnapping of Douglas. Meanwhile, his brother is plotting to steal away his position in the family business.
Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” cast members who will also appear on the May 12 installment include Caroline (Linsey Godfrey), Thomas (Pierson Fode), Rick (Jacob Young), Katie (Heather Tom) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang).

TV Guide reports that on Thursday’s episode of the “Bold and the Beautiful,” Rick’s hatred toward his brother intensifies, as he determinedly sets his eyes to overthrow Ridge as CEO of Forrester Creations. Meanwhile, Caroline finds herself in a tight spot as she needs to make a crucial decision about Douglas.
The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the May 12 episode. It features multiple scenes with Thomas, Caroline, Rick, Brooke, Katie and Ridge.
On the first scene, Thomas tells Caroline, “Ridge has claimed his stake on my first-born son, and just wants to push me away.” She replies, “I can’t get back the time that you’ve lost not knowing that he’s your son.”
The next part of the video shows Rick as he argues with Brooke. “It’s a disgrace that a Marone is running everything for us,” he says. Brooke wonders why he worries about Ridge so much. “Because he’s stealing my birthright,” he retorts.
Katie also figures in the trailer, as he reassures Ridge that everything is going to work out for the best.

On Wednesday, Caroline and Ridge were thrown into a panic when they learned that Thomas took away Douglas. As Thomas was driving off with the baby, he received a call from Ridge. Ridge said Thomas could not just kidnap Douglas, but Thomas insisted that he’s the real father. When Caroline spoke to Thomas, he told her to meet him in the cabin alone. Caroline shared this with Ridge, and told him not to call the police. “I’m going to get our son,” she promised. When Caroline arrived at the cabin, Thomas assured her that he won’t hurt the baby. “He’s my son,” he said. They discussed about their situation and apologised to each other. Thomas wondered if Caroline really wants Ridge to claim Douglas as his own. Later, Katie walked in at Caroline and Ridge’s house and Ridge lashed at her for meddling into his business. He yelled, “None of this would have happened if it weren’t for you!” Ridge insisted that Douglas is his son.
