Adding more fuel and fire to the explosive Brian McFadden and Delta Goodrem's recent war of words, Brian's ex-wife, Kerry Katona, has criticized on Goodrem's comments that she wished she had left the relationship earlier.

The former Atomic Kitten pop star used her column in Britain's "OK Magazine" to slam the Australian singer.

"Delta Goodrem said that she felt really unhappy and that she didn't know how to get out of her relationship with Brian McFadden. No wonder she felt pressured and trapped, that's because he left his wife and kids for her! She was suffering from pure guilt," Katona stated.

Goodrem, who is believed to have signed a confidentiality agreement after splitting from McFadden last year, has come under fire for revealing details of their relationship. She had hinted trouble in an interview in Vogue magazine but on 60 Minutes, she was quite blunt about it.

Meanwhile, it seems that the 31-year old Katona is still bitter about her ex-husband leaving her for Delta Goodrem in 2004.

"Delta and Brian were together for seven years, that's tough going. I know I haven't been able to hold down a relationship too well, so I can't really criticize, but I'm the bigger person," Katona said.

"I honestly don't know Brian anymore so have nothing more to say. All I know is that he left us for her and it ended. What a shame! There's not a chance in hell I'll be meeting up with Delta now to compare notes," she further added.

Katona married McFadden in 2002. They split in 2004 and officially divorced in 2006. The former couple has two daughters, Molly and Lilly-Sue. McFadden is now currently engaged to Irish model, Vogue Williams, while Katona has recently divorced, again, her husband of five years, Mark Croft.
