Britney Spears posts a photo of her new studio recording

Britney Spears might just be recording her new studio album. The pop star shared a new photo on Thursday via Instagram that shows her in a recording studio.

In the photo uploaded on Instagram, Spears poses in a silly face with DJ Burns and producer Mischke Butler.

The “Pretty Girls” singer also posted another photo of her and DJ Burns posing with a peace sign. “Making magic in the studio with @thisisburns4real yesterday! ✌️” she captioned.

The snapshot featuring the singer and DJ immediately gained more than 81.7 thousand likes. One of her fans commented, “So ready for some new @britneyspears music” while some others think that Spears and DJ Burns looked good together.

DJ Burns also took to Instagram to share his excitement for his latest collaboration. One of the photos he uploaded shows him busy working in the studio. He captioned the other photo, “Hey @britneyspears I'm sorry I'm so tall, we made some [fire] though so it's cool.”

The upcoming album of Spears will be her ninth album and her first since 2013. The date for its release is still unknown.

Meanwhile, Spears signed on for another two-year long residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. With a US$475,000 (AU$649,213) earnings per show, Spears has bought a large estate in Thousand Oaks, Variety reported. The said estate, with a size of 13,264 square feet, is reportedly worth US$7,400,000 (AU$10,114,056).

The pop singer has also been teaching dance lessons to kids recently. She uploaded a photo and a video of her dance class on Instagram on Sunday.

Spears is a mother of two boys, Sean Federline, 10 and Jayden James Federline, 9. She and her sons have appeared together in “Ooh La La” music video for “The Smurfs 2.”
