‘Buffy’ Star Sarah Michelle Gellar Refuses to Talk About Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s Vogue Cover
“Buffy The Vampire Slayer” star Sarah Michelle Gellar is usually honest and open about various issues and questions thrown at her by the media, but there’s one thing this 37-year-old TV icon refused to answer: She didn’t want to talk about Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s Vogue cover.
In March, eyebrows were raised when the rapper and the reality star appeared on the April cover of the fashion and lifestyle magazine. Its U.S. editor Anna Wintour is known for her discerning taste, which perhaps further confused people why she chose tabloid fodders Kim and Kanye to grace the magazine’s cover.
Gellar was one of the subscribers who reacted negatively to the married couple’s cover.
Well......I guess I'm canceling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me???

Fans of the Wests naturally sided with the couple, berating and insulting Gellar for her snide remark. However, the actress was not without her own supporters, who backed and even commended her on views.
Today, she refused to talk about it. She didn’t appear to recede from her stance as her tweet is still on her page.
“Next question,” she told the press after one reporter asked if she truly cancelled her Vogue subscription after her infamous tweet.
It might still be a sore subject for her, but it’s also more likely that she just didn’t want to talk about Kim and Kanye while she’s in Australia to endorse Specsavers. She served as a judge for the Specsavers 2014 Spectacle Wearer of the Year competition on Wednesday.
She was enthusiastic about other subjects, though, most specifically about her family.
Gellar is married to her “I Know What You Did Last Summer” co-star Freddie Prince, Jr., with whom she has two children, 5-year-old daughter Charlotte Grace and 2-year-old son Rocky James. As for the secret to her 12 years-and-counting marriage, which is a great feat for Hollywood couples, the actress said she doesn’t know the formula.
“If I knew, I’d write a book, sell it and retire,” she said. “I just think we all have to remember that we live in a very technological age, and whether it’s your partner or your kids or your friends, you need to put down the phone. Put down the iPad and switch off the TV. Actually communicate and look the person in the eye and remember to be present in the moment.”
Gellar also answered the most important question for “Buffy” fans.
“People get so mad at me for this, but I’m an Angel girl,” she said, breaking the hearts of fans who are Team Spike. “People can have their opinions of course, but that’s mine.”
