‘Call of Duty’ 2016 footage hinted at E3 2016, ‘Call of Duty Black Ops 3’ Patch 1.07 already out
Infinity Ward has already been signed and confirmed to pen and produce the upcoming “Call of Duty” title for 2016. Though the studio has not yet revealed any plans for what is in store for the next iteration, there is now a report that a footage of the “Call of Duty” 2016 will be shown as early as this coming June event, the E3 2016.
In the latest update from Activision, the publisher reiterated that Infinity Ward is looking to exhibit the COD title at the gaming event. However, this will not be shown at the Activision booth at the event, as there will be no booths to begin with.

“In June, we’re going to be at E3 showcasing gameplay from Infinity Ward’s ambitious new game. We’re proud to be participating in this premiere video game event, but won’t have an Activision booth on the show floor,” said Activision via the publisher's official blog.
This is an interesting move on the part of Activision, considering how “Call of Duty” is not the only title that it has in the works. Recently, the publisher and developer Bungie has already confirmed that the sequel to “Destiny” will be coming sometime in 2017. However, Activision is also not alone in skipping one of the biggest gaming events of the year, as Electronic Arts has also opted to have the EA Play event.
In the meantime, the end is not yet in sight for last year’s “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.” In fact, Activision cited that the start of the year had seen one of the biggest recorded number of plays for the title, spanning the different maps and the Eisendrache Zombies mode for the title.
To enhance the experience, Treyarch has recently released a new patch for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” on the PS4. There are general changes and tweaks for the multiplayer, the gameplay, maps, weapons, challenges and the zombies mode.
Listed by Charlie Intel, a couple of bugs have been fixed for the gameplay. Players can now unlock Gold/Diamond camos on the Marshal16 and MX Garand when after earning a Weapon Class Mastery before TU5. The issue of wrong images for the LRX3 and the image for when a player receives the Reaper Geist Special theme have been resolved.
The patch also adds the ricochet damage for the Care Package owners in Hardcore Modes and for planting or defusing bombs in Search & Destroy in Hardcore Mode. For the Zombies mode, the biggest resolution had been for the exploit in the Daily Challenge system. In addition, the Double Weapon XP meter has been fixed to reflect the accurate amount of XP earner after matches.
For now, the patch is live for the PS4. Activision has yet to release a specific date on when it will debut for other platforms.
