'Captain America: Civil War': Ant-Man will be different; New magazine cover similar to comics
The cover page of the next issue of Empire magazine has been revealed to be a picture of “Captain America: Civil War.” The picture appears to be based on the comic book series with the same name. Meanwhile, a new report reveals that Ant-Man may be different in the forthcoming movie.
The cover page of the next issue of Empire is of Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) engaged in a fierce battle. The fighting pose in the picture is similar to the cover of the comic book series that focused on the storyline of the two superheroes leading their respective factions against each other.
The magazine contains interviews with directors Anthony and Joe Russo, who talked about what it was like to film the movie. There are also interviews with some of the cast members, including Evans and Downey Jr.
The magazine will explore the history of Steve Rogers, which may contain hints about the conflict with Iron Man. There is also an exclusive interview with Chadwick Boseman, who plays Black Panther in “Captain America: Civil War” and will later play a lead role in the solo movie of his character.
Meanwhile, new details about Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) in the movie have surfaced online. The powers of the character may be different from what the fans saw in the solo movie of the character.
[Spoiler alert]
According to a report by Yahoo, the toy line of the movie reveals that Ant-Man will not only have the ability to shrink to a very small size in the movie, but will also have the power to grow in size to enormous height. The comic book version of this character was known as Giant-Man and he was seen to be as tall as skyscrapers.
The new powers of Ant-Man in “Captain America: Civil War,” if true, will give team Steve an enormous boost in strength. The producers, however, have so far not confirmed that Giant-Man will be seen in the movie and none of the promo pictures and trailers show any indication of this happening.
