The producers of “Captain America: Civil War” are looking for extras in the movie, according to a new report. The roles are expected to be for the men and women of the fictitious kingdom of Wakanda, which is the home of the new character in the movie – Black Panther.

According to a report by ComicBookMovie, the producers of “Captain America: Civil War” are looking for African men and women to play the role of extras in the movie. The announcement was made by TammySmithCasting, and the report suggests that there are multiple vacancies for actors to fill various roles, such as “upscale men and women” of all ethnicities, “military men,” “African Men and women,” “Southeast Asian men and women” and “college students” with “Ivy League College appropriate attire.”

Applicants have been requested to send in their information including name, photos, phone number, email address, city and state, age, height, weight and experience. The announcement states that experience is not necessary but will be helpful for “certain bookings.” Filming will take place in the Atlanta Metro area, according to the announcement, and the applicants are expected to be local to Greater Atlanta area or be able to work as a local hire, with their own place to stay.

According to the news report, the African men and women being cast as extras could be for the African nation of Wakanda in “Captain America: Civil War.” Chadwick Boseman will be playing the role of T’Challa or Black Panther, who is the prince of the African nation, in the upcoming movie.

According to the comic books, Black Panther has superhuman sense of sight and smell and has panther-like reflexes in combat. The character became a member of the superhero group called The Avengers and used his powers and enormous wealth to help mankind.

After appearing in “Captain America: Civil War” for the first time, Chadwick Boseman will be reprising his role in the 2018 solo movie titled “Black Panther.” The 2016 movie is slated to be released on April 29 in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Fans of the franchise in the U.S. will be able to watch the movie on May 6.
