Cara Delevingne will star alongside Jared Leto (The Joker), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) and Will Smith (Deadshot) in David Ayer’s new film “Suicide Squad.” The model has been cast to play the role of Enchantress. While Robbie and Smith have spoken about doing extreme workout to prepare for their role, Cara has so far remained mum on her involvement in the movie. However, according to a source she has reportedly been seeing a psychotherapist in preparation for her role.

Cara Delevingne has reportedly been researching about her character in “Suicide Squad” and part of the research supposedly includes getting help from a shrink for her role. A source told the Daily Star that the model-turned-actress finds her role very challenging so she has been seeing a psychotherapist to aid her with her portrayal of Enchantress, who in the comics has two separate personalities.

“She’s dedicated to doing her research for the movie and has been seeing her psychotherapist every day. Her character is very dark so she has a lot to learn about the way to act,” the source said.

The source said Cara Delevingne actually finds it “hilarious” that she has to play as Enchantress in “Suicide Squad” because of her personality. In real life she’s said to be laid-back and really cheery. So she’s reportedly struggling with portraying the character because of their opposite personalities. However, according to the source, the 22-year-old has been one of David Ayer’s greatest fans so she couldn’t be more excited to work with him in the movie. She reportedly also finds it a dream come true working with fellow casts Jared Leto and Will Smith. The source said Cara finds it will be “a huge step forward for her in her career” starring in “Suicide Squad.”

According to IGN, the Suicide Squad member has two opposing personalities. One is June Moore, the kind-hearted and humble artist, while her alter ego is said to be the evil spirit Enchantress June tries so hard to keep at bay. According to Comicbook, it’s understandable why Cara Delevingne would be seeing a psychotherapist for her role. Portraying a character with a split personality can be very challenging for any actor, let alone for a newcomer like her.
