“Habeas Corpse” is the title of episode 19 of “Castle” Season 7. The episode will see Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Kate Beckett (Sana Katic) investigating the murder of a “larger-than-life personal-injury attorney,” Richie “The Pitbull” Falco, according to the synopsis of the episode.
The preview voiceover says that the unearthing of this murder mystery comes with a prize. At the end of the preview, Castle is seen saying, “We must have dug our own graves.” The synopsis of “Habeas Corpse” indicates that the husband-wife would discover a shocking secret related to the murder.
The sneak peek clip reveals why Castle says that they have dug their own graves. Beckett and Castle can be seen digging a grave in the woods and discovering a body bag. Soon afterwards, the two hear the click of a gun. The man, who is holding the gun, is wearing a mask and is standing behind them. He is seen telling Beckett and Castle, “Put the bag down and step away from the body.” The situation does not look good for the couple.
Meanwhile, the episode 20 of “Castle” Season 7 will be revisiting Castle’s disappearance mystery. The episode is expected to answer some of the questions related to why Castle disappeared on his wedding day and what had happened. Some big revelations are expected in the episode, though the entire story is not going to be revealed.
According to TV Line’s report, the episode 21, titled “In Plain Sight,” is likely to pit the women against the men. David Amann, showrunner of “Castle,” has said to TV Line that episode 21 will see a “different configuration to the investigative team that emphasises a couple of the women.” The next episode after this is the penultimate episode of the season, which is also the 150th episode of “Castle.” The milestone episode is reportedly going to be a classic, light-hearted “Castle” episode.
The final episode of “Castle” Season 7 is going to be a high-stake episode and might end on a cliffhanger, according to spoiler reports. However, ABC has yet to renew the series for Season 8. Also, the contracts of most of the actors from the original cast, including Katic and Fillion, are up for renewal after the current season wraps up.
