“Castle” Season 7, episode 19 brings Stana and Nathan back in the spotlight. (The previous episode was focused on Seamus Dever’s Kevin Ryan.) Their characters look into the murder of a lawyer who is involved in “shocking secrets.”
“Happy birthday to my co-star (and) colleague,” Stana Katic tweeted (see the rest of the message here), mentioning how she feels about playing Kate Beckett opposite Fillion’s Rick Castle. The message drew over 11 thousand likes and “favourites” from fans.
For his part, Nathan thanked his Twitter followers, all three million of them, saying they have “been through a lot together.” The actor playing Rick Castle observed his birthday by promoting his charity. He has so far raised almost $80,000 for the benefit of people in areas where clean water is a real challenge.
Meanwhile, Rick and Kate are expected to go revisit some dark times in their lives in the last few episodes of “Castle” Season 7. Series creator Andrew W. Marlowe earlier revealed this season has 23 episodes.
Both Marlowe and new show boss David Amann have said in previous interviews that Rick’s 2-month disappearance will be dealt with toward the end of “Castle” Season 7. Stana Katic, for her part, has promised to share with fans some behind-the-scenes photos. The Beckett-Castle image in Stana's greeting may be a preview of cute photos and images to come from the actress.
“Castle” Season 7, episode 19 also stars Nikki DeLoach of “Awkward,” Don McManus of “Justified,” Brian McNamara of “Army Wives,” and Meredith Monroe of “Heart of Dixie.” Scott Broderick plays Richie Falco, the murder victim. This week’s new episode was written by Rob Hanning and directed by Kate Woods.
“Castle” Season 7 airs Mondays on ABC.
