On the Mar. 29 episode of “Revenge” Season 4, Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) is coming out with one secret to supposedly end the ripple effects of her original vengeful scheme. Meanwhile, Season 5 renewal forecasts are not optimistic for the ABC drama. Will the Season 4 finale be the series finale, too?

Spoiler alert: This update contains “Revenge” Season 4 spoilers. Episode 17 of “Revenge” Season 4 ends with Margaux (Karine Vanasse) telling Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) that Emily pushed her into a rushing cab, causing her to lose Daniel’s baby. Will Victoria believe a pro like Emily would commit such a careless act in public?

Also in this week’s new episode, Emily cries to her father David Clarke (James Tupper), telling him “it’s too late” for her to correct the string of events that started from her revenge. In a promo clip for the next “Revenge” Season 4 episode, Emily addresses the public with one revelation.

Is Emily Thorne set to reveal that she is the real Amanda Clarke, or will she announce the real reason why Daniel Grayson died? The reactions of the other characters in the latest “Revenge” Season 4 promo video shows shock and disbelief.

Meanwhile, television entertainment websites are casting their predictions on renewals and cancellations. For three of these sites, the “Revenge” Season 4 finale could be the series finale.

For Spoilertv, “Revenge” is under the “Likely to be Cancelled” category. For TVLine, things “could go either way” with regards to the possibility of a “Revenge” Season 5. For Zap2it, it’s “likely canceled” for the ABC primetime soap.

ABC, for its part, has yet to make an official announcement on the fate of “Revenge” Season 4. The past renewal announcements were done in the month of May.
