Gina Liano was forced to leave “Celebrity Apprentice Australia” after being hospitalised for four days. The “Real Housewives of Melbourne” reality star and junior barrister acquired a potentially life-threatening virus from ousted candidate Gabi Grecko. Meanwhile, it was revealed that the latter will be returning. Grecko, the American fashion designer and DJ, was the first candidate to be fired from the current show.

Liano apparently did not take the news of her leaving well and called the host, real estate magnate Mark Bouris, rude.

“If there was a man or woman, in my opinion, who behaved like that in a boardroom, they would not be welcome back, or invited back.” Liano said. She added that Bouris was dismissive and that she never met a man as disrespectful as the business mogul.

Liano said that she was disappointed that she had to leave her group, Team Fearless. However, she had to listen to her body, especially since she is a bowel cancer survivor.

In the fourth episode of “Celebrity Apprentice Australia” Season 4, which aired on Oct. 7, the teams were given the task of promoting Guru, a financial investment product under the Bouris-owned Yellow Brick Road Wealth Management firm. They had to register people and rake in huge amounts of cash, with the project manager awarded $25,000 to invest and make the project happen. Esther Anderson, the Australian actress and model, was project manager for Team Fearless, while Australian TV host James Mathison, headed The Dream Team.

During the episode, The Dream Team used the information they had about Guru to push the product well and communicate it effectively to their target audience. While Team Fearless actually had more people who signed up for interviews, in the end, it was The Dream Team that convinced more people to set appointments. Team Fearless’ downfall was because several members in the group did not have adequate knowledge about Guru, which hindered them from fully sharing the benefits to potential clients.

Back in the boardroom, Esther Anderson, model Sophie Monk and former Miss Australia Tegan Martin are called in. Anderson was ultimately fired for failing to communicate with people well and not giving proper information to her team about the financial product.

Episode 5 of “Celebrity Apprentice Australia” Season 4 will air on Oct. 14 on Nine Network.
