Looks like there is going to be a song dedicated to Conor Kenedy. How so? Apparently, the 22-year-old country singer, Taylor Swfit and 18-year-old Conor Kenedy have reportedly parted ways, a close friend of Taylor confirmed and told Us Weekly.

Despite the whirlwind romance claiming to be a happy ever after, Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy have ironically split up. Too bad though, Swift's "Red" album had already premiered just a few days ago so no one would be able to dedicate one song for Conor Kennedy. A source close to the couple had confirmed the split to Us Weekly.

"They quietly parted ways a while ago. It was just a distance thing. No hard feelings. They're fine," explained the source.

Another web tabloid, Hollywood Life, had been contacted by Conor's friend who opened up on the couple's split. Fans of the couple shouldn't start bidding adieu to this couple because according to Conor's friend, the alleged split is simply a "cool-off" phase.

"Its more of a break than a break up, I would not be surprised at all if they get back together. They are just very busy with what they are doing in their own lives," says the source to Hollywood Life.

"The distance really got to Taylor, and she wanted to slow things down before ruining any potential future they have together. She is still good with the family and Conor. Chances are good they'll be back as an item maybe as soon as the holidays when Conor has more free time." added the source.

It is been over a month since they've seen each other, Taylor has been busy doing a press tour to promote her new album, "Red", it will be difficult for the ex-couple to have time. Also, given Swift's current success with "Red", Conor-time won't be included in the hectic schedule.

If things do however take a turn for the worse, Taylor Swift could always bond over the break-up with BFF, Selena Gomez, who is also experiencing a few relationship dramas over the past few weeks.

With all the break-ups happening here and there, successful women such as Swift should probably stick to the single life for now.
