Zlatan Ibrahimovic's boyhood club Malmo FF are back on the European scene, taking on Italian giants Juventus on matchday 1 in the Champions League.

The Age Hareide-led side are looking to make the most out of the rare opportunity handed to them by taking it one game at a time, and will try to take advantage of the Turin outfit's match form, as they had only two competitive matches in over two weeks.

"We have to have the objective of doing as well as we can," said Hareide.

"Juventus have only just started their season and this could be an advantage for us."

"We've seen them play and we noticed that they were a bit tired towards the end against Udinese [on Saturday]. "

"We are already used to playing three games a week. We've got to try to do our best, and then maybe we have a chance. "

Acknowledging the fact that the opposition might take them lightly, the Swede club will try to surprise.

"Juventus will be thinking this is the easiest fixture for them in the group, that the Olympiacos and Atlético de Madrid games will be their hardest," he added.

"So we're here to try and cause them problems."

Meanwhile, Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri is determined to lead his charges past the group stages after failing to get through in last year's campaign.

"Our group may seem straighforward, but it was the same last year and Juve were eliminated, so that shows it's not easy to get through the group stage," said Allegri.

"Juve have a side competitive enough to go far in the league and in Europe. "

"We know it's very hard to win in Europe, but nothing is impossible."

"The main objective is to have the whole squad available to keep a high level in all our games, to try to get results in the league and in the Champions League."
