Charlie Sheen wages war against his own show
Actor Charlie Sheen called in to rant against his own television show
Charlie Sheen has found a new enemy and is making the headlines, again. But this time his new-found enemy is not his critics and not those who have exposed his addiction both to drugs and alcohol and women.
This time Charlie Sheen has waged a war against producers and creators of his television show, “Two and a Half Men”, the show that has made him the highest-paid television actor in America.
According to Access Hollywood, the actor called “The Alex Jones Show”, a nationally syndicated radio show Thursday and made a verbal attack against CBS and his own comedy show.
“I was told if I went on the attack, they would cancel the show,” Charlie was quoted by Access Hollywood as telling radio show host, Alex Jones. Charlie was apparently sending the messages to the big shots at CBS.
The actor then underscored how the network had profited with him as the show’s front face.
“Are they hapy with the $5 billion they made off me?” Charlie said taunted on his CBS bosses, said Access Hollywood. “[‘Two and a Half Men’] is a runaway frickin’ juggernaut.”
As if threatening the CBS management, Sheen has expressed his doubts of the show’s survival in his absence.
“Watch your ratings, dudes. Watch your stupid ratings,” Sheen said. “Do what you’re gonna do - - I’ll make movies with superstars.”
Despite Charlie’s open anger unleashed on the syndicated radio, the actor insisted that he is coming to work when the production returns next week.
It remains unclear where Charlie’s shocking rant stem from. The producer of the series has confirmed resumption of work next week to finish four out of eight remaining episodes of the agreed 24-episode this season.
