Eden Hazard's brother, Thorgan, who is currently on-loan with Zulte Waregem in the Jupiler Pro League, was voted as the best player in Belgium for the year 2013, receiving the Golden Shoe award.

The attacking midfielder, featuring 37 times and scoring five goals, helped Zulte clinch the second spot in the league, losing to Anderlecht by only 4 points.

Hazard, 20, found the net 17 times and successfully provided for his teammates in that same figure last year. The 20-year-old was also held as the most promising player.

"I am really happy and truly honoured to be awarded,' said Hazard. 'My performances over the past year have been on a very high level and it's always nice when people recognise that. I want to give a special thanks to Chelsea FC, for believing in me and for supporting me in my career. This 'Golden Boot' will give me the confidence and the determination to grow as a football player," Hazard told chelseafc.com.

Meanwhile, Eden, is equally thrilled with that his brother has accomplished in his young career, while revealing that such may help the younger Hazard in stepping out of the elder's shadow.

"I'm really happy for my brother. He deserved the Golden Boot. He has had a top season in Belgium, a top year 2013. I'm really happy the people can finally stop calling Thorgan the brother of... He's now making a career for himself. He can say now: "I have a beautiful surname, Hazard, but I also have a name of my own, Thorgan," said Eden.

From the looks of it, Thorgan is, indeed, a talented player and it may be just a matter of time before he we see him join Eden in the limelight.
