Chelsea is set to land Saint-Etienne wonderkid Kurt Zouma in the coming days, according to various sources.

The 19-year-old has been heavily linked with the west London side in the recent weeks, as Jose Mourinho looks to haul long-term talents to accompany him in his quest to remain at the club he truly loves for the longest possible time.

Zouma, who possesses the skills and physical traits needed to blossom into a top-class defender, is also viewed as a perfect understudy to skipper John Terry and is considered to be his eventual successor in Chelsea's stronghold.

Reports suggest that the clubs are nearing their respective desired terms, expecting the Blues to shell out £ 11 million to get the Frenchman to Stamford Bridge.
