Teen couple Chloe Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham have reportedly ended their relationship a few weeks ago.
A source told the New York Post’s Page Six that the couple have called it quits during Brooklyn’s two-month vacation in Los Angeles with his family, as they were not spending time together despite being in the same city.
News of the breakup surfaced a few weeks after a source revealed to Mirror that Chloe and Brooklyn are already planning to take their relationship to the next level. The couple had reportedly found a house in Venice Beach and were planning to move in together.
The “Kick-Ass” star, 19, and the aspiring photographer son of David and Victoria Beckham, 17, was first rumoured to be dating back in 2014 when they were spotted together at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards and Paris Fashion Week. After two years of speculation, the Hollywood actress finally confirmed their relationship during an interview on the US talk show “Watch What Happens Live” in May.
“We’re in a relationship. It’s fine. It’s no biggie. And I think that, you know, the more I don’t make it mysterious, the more that people don’t care. So yes, we’re in a relationship,” she told host Andy Cohen.
In an interview with WWD.com, the actress admitted that she was surprised by how many people actually cared about their relationship.
“I think everyone is looking for the new ‘it’ couple and I think the thing with he (Brooklyn) and I is that we have real jobs and aspirations and I don't think you see that very much,” she said. “You see a lot of fads and you see a lot of people who do a lot of things for fame and I think the opposite of us. We really do enjoy each other a lot, we’ve known each other for years and didn’t do this for anything except for the fact that we want to be together.”
Chloe and Brooklyn were frequently spotted attending high-profile events as a couple in the past few months and have publicly gushed over their romance on social media.
Both parties are yet to comment on the split report.
