Ruby Rose supports Chloë Grace Moretz after Khloé Kardashian publicly shames 19-year-old ‘Neighbours 2’ star
Australian actress and DJ Ruby Rose has lashed out at Khloé Kardashian for publicly shaming “Neighbours 2” star Chloë Grace Moretz. The 19-year-old made a point tweeting there are greater things to worry about in this world than the ongoing Taylor Swift-Kanye West feud and who agreed on what song lyrics months ago.
“Everyone in this industry needs to get their heads out of a hole and look around to realize what's ACTUALLY happening in the REAL world,” Moretz captioned one of her tweets.
She posted another tweet urging people to “stop wasting your voice on something so petulant and unimportant.”
However, the Kardashian sister was not happy with Moretz’s tweets and took matters to a whole new level by posting a photo of the actress in a red bikini top during “Neighbours 2” shooting, alongside a photo of a woman in a similar red bikini top but with her buttocks exposed. The photo was suggestive of Moretz being the one suffering the wardrobe malfunction.
While Moretz did not lose her cool and replied gracefully, clarifying the photos and pointing out she was wearing a blue bottom during the shoot, Aussie actress Rose went blitzkrieg about the whole matter and made her thoughts clear about online bullying.
“@ChloeGMoretz @0hbubbl3s @khloekardashian Yo Khloe I thought you were rad when I met you but this is awful and this is a 19 year old girl,” Rose Tweeted.
Moretz clarified that she was in a blue bottom and the photo of the girl the Kardashian sister shared was not her and that the photo was wrongfully photographed.
“@khloekardashian fact check: first photo is me filming my movie Neighbors 2, the second photo is some girl who was wrongfully photographed,” Moretz replied along with two of her photographs in the red top and blue bottom bikini.
Kardashian’s demeaning tweet has been met with intense criticisms from social media users who highlighted how wrong Kardashian was. Publicly shaming a teenage girl and making her feel embarrassed and vulnerable was totally uncalled for.
Even though Moretz can easily stand for herself, it was nice seeing Rose spring into action to point out the right from the wrong and supporting the teenage star.
