"Thor" star Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky is making their first child, India Rose, a big sister! The Aussie actor's rep has confirmed the pregnancy news to Us Weekly.

Will the addition to the adorable family be a Chris Hemsworth Jr.? It is still premature to tell if the couple will welcome a boy or a girl.

In the Hollywood Life report, the 37-year-old Spanish actress is already pregnant for about three months now with a spring due date. "Being a father is certainly a task. But the best one I could ever ask for. Being home, being with the family, that's what it's about," Chris Hemsworth shared in an interview with People.

The 30-year-old actor from Melbourne, Australia further revealed that family is what keeps him grounded when it comes to his rising acting career in Hollywood. Chris stated: "It makes me much more relaxed with work. To be honest, because I have something that is far more important to me now - and that is the priority - I get to just enjoy the work for what it is."

Recently, the proud daddy shared an Instagram image of his little girl, India Rose, with the caption that reads "My Princess." Chris Hemsworth can be seen in the image with his lips puckered up for a sweet kiss while holding his daughter.

Elsa Pataky, on the other hand, shared that their little bundle of joy is now almost walking and able to say the words "Mama" and "Papa." The "Fast & Furious 6" actress revealed as well that motherhood has made her more sensitive to a lot of things.

Back in June, Elsa Pataky acted coy when Us Weekly asked her about adding a new member to the Hemsworth family. "We'll see!" the Spanish beauty simply responded.

The soon-to-be family of four is currently enjoying bonding moments and vacation in Canary Islands, Spain where Chris Hemsworth films his upcoming film "In the Heart of the Sea." The actor is moving on to a new character, Owen Chase, after reprising his role as Marvel's superhero Thor in the sequel film "Thor: The Dark World."
