There's a trend at work in Lenovo's new convertible family of Windows 8 computing products: the names all suggest what they do, and the theme of flexibility.

Lenovo's IdeaPad Yoga is an ultraportable notebook that converts into a tablet. It provides the ultimate flexibility between work and play. This ultrabook doesn't have the 360 flexibility that the IdeaPad Yoga 13 offers, but for users who want to keep the normal pace in Windows, this computing device is a great option.

This model is powered by Windows 7 with Lenovo Enhanced Experience, up to 3rd generation Intel Core i7 processor, 4GB of memory, up 500GB HDD, and optional 32GB SSD.

The Lenovo IdeaPad U310 can last up to 7 hours of usage without plugging it, has 13.3 inches of widescreen and weighs 3.7 lbs. Other features buyers will get out of this ultrabook are the Dolby Home Theater v4 with 2.0 stereo speakers, InstantResume which starts from sleep mode in little more than one second, 720p HD webcam with face tracking, and Lenovo BootShield technology for fast boot time.

More or less, both ultrabooks share common features from Lenovo Technologies, but for advanced users who want the modern devices and trust Lenovo, the IdeaPad Yoga 13 has great processing speed and snappy reaction with the improvements and features Windows 8 can offer.

But for those who like it just fine and don't want to update all the software on the device, the IdeaPad U310 fits since a lot of software makers and developers need to make their current programs Windows 8 ready.
