Hollywood actor Johnny Depp is left with nothing but a broken heart to mend after his girlfriend, Amber Heard, dumped him for a French woman. "The Rum Diary" actress, who admitted being bi-sexual, split up with Johnny Depp to date model Marie de Villepin.
The couple met while filming "The Rum Diary" in 2010. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor began dating Amber Heard after confirming his split from French singer Vanessa Paradis in June 2012.
Johnny Depp's relationship with Vanessa Paradis lasted for 14 years where they were blessed with two children, Lily-Rose and Jack. On the other hand, Amber Heard reportedly split from photographer girlfriend, Tasya van Ree, to begin her romantic relationship with Johnny Depp.
During the 2010 Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) event, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were seen in public together for the first time as a rumored couple. Reports surfaced a couple of weeks later that Johnny Depp even gave a horse to Amber Heard as a gift which proves that the two are indeed a couple.
Amber Heard met Marie de Villepin, daughter of former French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin, when the 26-year-old actress was introduced to the French model in October 2012. Afterwards, the pair has been spotted together numerous times as they enjoy going on cinema dates and spending a romantic Paris vacation.
Amber Heard was recently spotted riding on the back of Marie de Villepin's motorcycle down the Champs-Elysees. "They're very close and some people say they are a couple," a source told The Sun.
The Paris vacation with Marie de Villepin has triggered the reports that everything is over between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. "They seemed happy and were even talking of marriage and babies. But Amber grew fed up with him and his moods," the source added.
According to DailyMail.com, Amber Heard has admitted being an open bi-sexual in 2010 where she opened up about her feelings towards personal relationships. "I don't label myself one way or another, I have had successful relationships with men and now a woman. I love who I love, it's the person that matters," Heard stated.
