"Criminal Minds" is going steadily into its 10th season, but what's interesting is after the much-teased major arc where The Replicator will be making a comeback as the main villain, there have not been any hints regarding such twist yet. Granted, the show is just on its third episode this season, but it appears that it will be a fast-paced latter part for "Criminal Minds" Season 10.

In the meantime, showrunner Erica Messer has provided a tidbit of information for Aaron Hotchner fans. While not related to the big villain and potentially big finale, it does bear some weight for the BAU team leader. [Warning: Spoilers Alert!]

Speaking to TV Guide, Messer reveals that Hotch may be saying goodbye to his newfound flame Beth. Fans who have followed their story closely will remember that after Haley's death in season five, Hotch had been pretty much all about work and his son Jack. However, Hotch met Beth at a park and the two hit it off.

According to TV Guide, Beth may be saying goodbye to Hotch, and it's primarily because of actress Bellamy Young's role in another TV series, "Scandal." Beth had been gone for an entire season, as her last appearance was in the Season 8 finale. With "Criminal Minds" Season 10 now underway, it appears that her role in the ABC drama series will not allow her to get back on the set.

In "Criminal Minds," Hotch and Beth are currently in a long-distance relationship, with Beth in Italy while Hotch had stayed with the BAU team. But given that her role as the First Lady in "Scandal" is a major one, there's just no way to ensure that the relationship will make sense in the long run.

"We want to address that long-distance relationship and do it right. We're not going to have Bellamy as long as she's the First Lady, so we want to have it make sense for Hotch when he deals with it," Messer said to TV Guide.

It's looking to be a rather teary mid-season for Hotch's relationship, especially after it was reported that Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) may be looking at some high moments with girlfriend Savannah (Rochelle Aytes). Fashion & Style previously reported that the show may be looking at using Morgan's new relationship to explore layers of his character.

In the meantime, Spoiler TV has obtained the official press release for "Criminal Minds" Season 10 episode 4, which brings in a creepy crawly experience for the team and viewers. The source states that the BAU team will be dealing with mysterious deaths caused by an unsub who has an obsessive skin condition.

This is also the episode where Alicia Coppola, also known for appearing in "NCIS," will be guest starring in "Criminal Minds." The video below features a sneak peek of the fourth episode, while this link shows a few promotional photos.
