The CW crossover to begin on Nov. 28 with 'Supergirl,' followed by 'The Flash,' 'Arrow' and 'Legends Of Tomorrow'
There are high expectations for the upcoming crossover among The CW’s most popular heroes. The US network’s four-part project -- which includes “Supergirl,” “The Flash,” “Arrow” and “DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow” -- will kick off with an introductory on Nov. 28.
The heroes will partner together to defeat an alien invasion from The Dominators, who attempt to take over the earth due its metahuman problem. This is not the first time that the network is combining characters from different shows, but it is the first time that all four are coming together. In previous episodes, “Arrow” and “The Flash” teamed up together, while “The Flash” and “Supergirl” have also appeared side by side.
As Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen/Green Arrow, told Blastr, the four-part crossover is much larger than any that The CW has attempted before. “It goes exponentially,” he told the publication. “It’s like 32 times [bigger]!” Amell also explained how next week will kick off with an episode of “Supergirl.” He went on, however, to somewhat downplay the role of Kara Danvers. “It really was her as a visitor,” he said. “And then a three-way crossover between ‘Arrow,’ ‘Flash’ and ‘Legends.’”
Kara is expected to make appearances on the remaining three series, but the role of the crossover in "Supergirl" is merely to set the stage for the "Invasion!" Melissa Benoist, who portrays Kara and Supergirl, admitted that there was chaos on set but that it was "so much fun."

But before viewers will see the crossover, the individual series will undergo some major developments. For instance, “Supergirl” has introduced Cyborg Superman and “Legends Of Tomorrow” recently debuted the Citizen Steel costume. “The Flash” also introduced a new character in the form of Savitar, the God of Speed, while the set of “Arrow” was shaken up by a new Vigilante.
“Supergirl,” “The Flash,” “Arrow” and “DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow” air every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights respectively. All four series air on The CW in the US, but are viewable on Fox 8 for Australian audiences.
