As “Dancing With The Stars” Week 6 got on with the “Spring Break Night” on April 20, musician Patti LaBelle and her pro partner Artem Chigvintsev faced elimination. Patti danced a fun quickstep and even lost one shoe in the middle of the routine, but that definitely didn’t deter her. She went on with a smile and finished the dance scoring 29 points. The judges were all praise for the 70-year-old, but in spite of this, she was voted off because she had the lowest combined total of viewer votes and judges’ scores, according to TV Line.

On Week 5, LaBelle had danced with an injured knee and earned 27 points for her waltz, but unfortunately, she was placed at third-to-last on the leader board. “I am honoured to be here as long as I have been. I’ve learned so much about me,” said the singer. This week even “Shark Tank” Robert Herjavec was in jeopardy along with Patti based of the performance last week. But he and his pro partner Kym Johnson managed to stay through this week earning 28 points for their jive.

At the end of her journey in DWTS, Season 20, Patti told co-host Erin Andrews that she has learned to take direction in life, which she has never done before. Besides, she has leaned a bit of dancing and found a great friend in Artem. The beach inspired “Spring Break Night” saw all the ladies flaunting their bodies in swimsuits and doing fun routines.

Though Riker Lynch and his pro partner Allison Holker were great on the dance floor and scored the highest points of the night with 37, but Len Goodman wasn’t very pleased with the R5 band member’s samba. He even compared Riker’s moves to that of Spiderman. Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli praised him. Olympian Nastia Liukin and her partner Derek Hough this week remained tied to Willow Shields and Mark Ballas. Both the dancing pairs earned 34 points. The 14-year-old “Hunger Games” star walked away with a lot of praise for her salsa routine.

Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy did a saucy jazz routine to Destiny’s Child “Bootylicious” and got 32 points. It seems that only Bruno liked the performance, Julianne and Carrie expected more from Rumer, though they admitted that the number was powerful. Len meanwhile said that he doesn’t like raunchy stuff. Chris Soules and Witney Carson did the Viennese waltz and earned 31. Judges praised him for his smooth moves, while Inaba even told Chris that the women in the audience loved the dance. Army veteran Noah Galloway’s rumba was praised by judges, although he seemed to be slightly dejected at the end of the routine. Galloway and Sharna Burgess got 29 points.

Meanwhile, the team dance score for each team was added to each individual member’s score. The scores will help determine who goes home next week on April 27, which will witness a double-elimination. Team YOLO: Shields, Galloway and Herjavec danced the beach routine set to “Wipe Out”. With Nastia heading the team, they scored 39 points. Team Trouble: Lynch, LaBelle and Soules danced a classroom-inspired routine set to “Trouble”. Lead by their captain Rumer, the team also earned 39 points. Tune in to ABC at 8 p.m. every Monday to watch the show.
