"Harry Potter" fans may unlikely agree with a film remake of the magical series but lead star, Daniel Radcliffe has no problem with it. In fact, Daniel Radcliffe expressed interest in playing the next generation of "Harry Potter's" father. How would "Potterheads" react to this?

Fans of Daniel won't count on him to reprise the role of Harry in any upcoming remakes or sequels to J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter." However, the 23-year-old actor does not oppose the idea of playing another role in the film remakes or a cameo appearance.

"No more schoolboy stuff," stated Radcliffe in an interview with Time Out magazine, adding, "A cameo as Harry's dad? That would be perfect!"

Apart from opening up on being part of future "Potter" films, Daniel talked about growing up and becoming a father one day.

"I definitely want to have kids. I've grown up around lots of people who were having kids when I knew them, because a lot of them were a lot older than me. And I saw the wonderful change in them," revealed Daniel.

"I see that it gives you a sense of purpose that up till now I only really get from work," he continued. "I want that. I don't know when or [with whom] but I want it. And I'd like to get started on it before my thirties. I like the idea of being a youngish parent. So I've got energy to play football even though they'll be better than me by the time they're four," continued the "Harry Potter" star.

With talks of a "Harry Potter" remake, it'll take a lot of convincing with J.K. Rowling. As for Daniel Radcliffe, the former "Potter" star is busy with his upcoming comedic series set to air in the UK titled, "A Young Doctor's Notebook." The series synopsis is as follows.

"Based on Russian writer Mikhail Bulgakov's book of the same name, the four-part miniseries is a darkly humorous account of the turbulent experiences of a newly graduated young doctor (Radcliffe), told through the eyes of his older, opiate-addicted self (Hamm), who narrates the action from his own notebooks."

This is certainly one of Daniel's latest acting stints fans of the "Potter" franchise should be looking forward to.
