As everyone waited patiently for this premiere teaser of 'The Dark Knight Rises,' its being featured at the MTV Movie Awards 2012 proved to be worth the wait.

The stars of the movie led by Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Gary Oldman all went up the stage during the 21st MTV movie awards to give a presentation of the history of the movie and how it led to its final film, as directed by Christopher Nolan.

The first part featured the iconic images that became a big part of the film series' success. There were scenes from 'The Dark Knight' and 'Batman Begins' along with Heath Ledger portraying the role of Joker when he was still alive. Christian Bale could not help shedding some man tears upon remembering his memories of working with Ledger.

The director, Christopher Nolan, presented exclusive clips that others have never seen before. Nolan highlighted his work for nine years over this project and that he is convinced that there is no better way to end the saga with 'The Dark Knight Rises.'

The rest of the clip showed during the MTV movie awards featured new elements and the all out war that happened in Gotham City. It just says one thing: this is one 'Batman' package that no one should miss.

The 'Dark Knight Rises' will hit the big screen on July 20.
