'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Dec. 30: New Year alters some relationships; Chad blasts Andre for keeping Abby’s secret

With the introduction of a new year, Salemites face quite some unexpected twists and big surprises on the upcoming episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”). On Friday, Chad (Billy Flynn) turns his rage to Andre (Thaoo Penghlis), lambasting him for hiding the truth that Abby (Marci Miller) is alive.

Despite Abby’s efforts, Chad can’t still wrap his head around the fact that his wife is really not gone. After telling Abby that he’s not yet ready to pick up where they left off, he then focuses his energy towards his brother, whom appears to be an accomplice of Abby. Other “Days Of Our Lives” characters who will figure prominently on the Dec. 30 installment include Gabi (Camila Banus), JJ (Casey Moss) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves).

TV Guide reports that on Friday’s run of “DOOL,” the New Year ushers in changes in some relationships. Elsewhere, JJ reels at a shocking discovery while Gabi comes to Abby’s aid, when the latter experiences a panic attack. Chad, on the other hand, lashes out at Andre for hiding Abby’s secret.

In the previous episode, Abby tried to have a sweet moment with Chad by asking him to dance. She said they can have everything back together but said he can’t do it. Chad felt overwhelmed and was unsure if he could get past their broken trust. She then asked him if he has feelings for Abby. Jenn then arrived and Abby left to get some air. Jenn tried to justify Abby’s actions, but she said she’s not sure that Abby won’t have a breakdown again. Meanwhile, Abby went to the pub, crying her heart out. She started having a panic attack when she remembered Chad kissing Gabi. Gabi arrived and asked if Abby is okay.
