"Days Of Our Lives" soap recap
In the previous episode, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) spotted Jennifer’s picture at Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) house and asked him why he has it. Eric confessed that he and Jennifer hooked up before. Hope shared with him that Jennifer is recovering and is in fact doing well, having bought The Spectator. Eric said that Jennifer sent him some letters while he was in prison but he never read them.
Elsewhere, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Shane (Charles Shaughnessy) continued patting themselves on the back for fooling everyone. “Anyone would buy you as Stefano (Joseph Mascolo),” Steve commented. The two gentlemen’s plan was revealed: they took Stefano’s body from his casket and switched it with someone else, then transferred money from the DiMera account to other accounts. Now that their mission is over, they looked forward to seeing Hope free and to going home. They turned to look at some pictures and saw one with a man who resembled Stefano. They were shocked to realise the man was not Shane, which means Stefano could really be alive.
Meanwhile, Jennifer went to see Drew and informed him that Deimos kidnapped Chad and Gabi as he was determined to find “the key” to the Orwell device. Drew wanted to show himself to Deimos, but Jennifer had another plan: they should plant the virus into the Titan computers. Later, Jennifer called Adrienne and asked her to meet. Adrienne arrived and was surprised to see Drew, whom she thought was Shane. Anne then appeared, leaving everyone in shock.
