'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Feb. 22: Salem deals with a mother-and-son reunion, a face-off between ex-lovers and a stunning discovery

Emotions run high in Salem on the upcoming episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”). On Wednesday, Eric (Greg Vaughan) is shocked to see his mum at the farmhouse. Spoilers suggest that he won’t be too happy to see Marlena (Deidre Hall), but she hopes to convince him to go home and be with his family and friends.

Meanwhile, Hattie (Deidre Hall) finally confronts her ex, Andre (Thaoo Penghlis), for putting her in trouble. Apart from her explosive encounter with Andre, Hattie also says goodbye to her friend, Hope (Kristian Alfonso), which could mean that Marlena’s look-alike may be making her last appearance on the soap. Other “Days Of Our Lives” characters who will figure prominently on the Feb. 22 run include Rafe (Galen Gering), Chad (Billy Flynn) and Gabi (Camila Banus).

"Days Of Our Lives" soap opera spoilers

TV Guide reports that on Wednesday’s run of “DOOL,” Marlena gets the opportunity to be with her son, Eric, once again. Her look-alike, Hattie, finally faces up to Andre. The “Days Of Our Lives” website posted sneak peek photos of Eric and Andre for the Feb. 22 episode.

Also on Wednesday, Hope fears that Andre still holds a grudge against her and may do something that will ruin her life. Rafe, on the other hand, is stunned when he listens in on Chad and Gabi’s discussion. Spoilers suggest that he would overhear the two recounting what happened at the meat locker, including their kiss.

In the previous episode, Abby (Marci Miller) sought the help of Dario (Jordi Vilasuso), showing him the list of Titan properties that she got. Dario managed to track down an abandoned warehouse and geared up to go there. He asked Abby not to follow him but she did. Elsewhere, Gabi and Chad were struggling to deal with the cold and ended up kissing. They fell unconscious, naked and hugging each other, when Abby walked in and found them. She performed CPR on Chad, while Dario arrived and attended to Gabi. Later, they went to the hospital, where Gabi and Chad were declared out of danger.

Meanwhile, Eduardo (A Martinez) and Andre started their negotiations with Deimos (Vincent Irizarry). The two men ordered Deimos to release Chad and Gabi and they’ll free Sonny (Freddie Smith) in return. Deimos, however, stood his ground and said he won’t do it until he has the key. Later, Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) also turned up at the mansion and Eduardo asked her if she has the key. Before she could answer, Drew (Charles Shaughnessy) arrived and revealed that he’s the key. Deimos gave him a laptop and Drew installed the virus, erasing all the files.

Later, the cops arrived and everyone went to the station, where Deimos insisted his innocence. Fortunately for him, the police released him. From the station, Jennifer and Drew went to the meat locker, where he admitted that he didn’t completely delete the Orwell software – he made a back-up. A moment later, an explosion was heard.
