'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Jan 13: Eric is eaten up by guilt over Daniel’s death
"Days Of Our Lives" will focus on Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) in its upcoming episode on Wednesday. Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast who will also be featured are Melanie (Molly Burnett), Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), Eduardo (A Martinez) and John (Drake Hogestyn). The main storyline of “DOOL” on Jan. 13 is all about dealing with grief and guilt.

TV Guide reports that on Wednesday’s episode of “DOOL,” Eric is overwhelmed by guilt about what he did, while Eduardo tells John something important about his mother. Meanwhile, Melanie comes home to Salem to help with her father’s funeral, and a grieving Nicole doesn’t know how to cope with Daniel’s death.

"Days Of Our Lives" soap recap
Fans are wondering what happens next to Eric after the terrible accident that took Daniel’s life. On Monday’s episode, Eric was seen at the hospital in a flashback on what happened. He dreamed that he drove a vehicle despite being too drunk and that he felt asleep at the wheel.
A few moments later, he woke up with a start and saw Nicole crying in his room. Nicole screamed at him and accused him of killing Daniel. Eric apologised, and they agreed that being sorry won’t bring Daniel back.
Nicole continued lashing out at him but was interrupted by Marlena. Nicole walked off, followed by Marlena. Marlena told Nicole that reminding Eric of the accident is not helping anyone, and instead, Nicole should lend a hand to those whom Daniel left behind. Nicole disagreed and asked who will stand up for Daniel and continued to cry.
Meanwhile, Kayla, John and Roman paid Eric a visit. Roman told Eric that he loves him. When they left, Eric opened his eyes.
