'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Jan 19: Steve confronts Ava about her alliance with Joey

"Days Of Our Lives" will focus on family issues in its upcoming episode on Tuesday, as Steve (Stephen Nichols) questions Ava (Tamara Braun) why she is working with his son Joey (James Lastovic). TV Guide reports that on Tuesday’s episode of “DOOL,” Shawn comes home to Salem to grant Claire’s wish, while John and his mother come face to face. Elsewhere, Victor opens up to Maggie and tells her about his brother Deimos, and Steve questions Ava about her dealings with Joey.

Scenes from the Jan. 19 installment continue from previous episodes, which featured Ava’s drastic measures to proceed with her evil plans. After deliberately leaving baby photos for Steve to find, Ava revealed to him that it’s his baby. While reeling from this shocking news, Steve told Kayla about Ava’s latest bombshell. Kayla said it’s just one of Ava’s schemes. Meanwhile, Joey went to Ava’s hotel room and confessed that he’s in love with her. However, Ava told him they’re just friends and that they can’t be together because she’s dying of leukemia. Kayla arrived at Ava’s room and wondered why Joey was there. Ava said she and Joey were working together to reunite his parents. Kayla threatened that she would tell Steve about it. Before she could leave, Ava hit Kayla’s head with a candlestick, which left her unconscious.
