'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Jan. 6: Two love triangles intensify; Abby takes her plans to the next level, hits a snag

Salem City turns into a hotbed for intense face-offs and troubled relationships on the upcoming episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”). On Friday, Abby (Marci Miller) and Chad (Billy Flynn) agree to make an effort in rebuilding their family by spending time together. It would seem that Chad has finally decided to cut Abby some slack and try to rekindle their romance.

However, things don’t go smoothly as planned when they bump into Gabi (Camila Banus). While Chad wants to reconnect with Abby, he cannot deny that he also has feelings for Gabi. Other “Days Of Our Lives” characters who will figure prominently on the Jan. 6 installment include Claire (Vivian Jovanni), Theo (Kyler Pettis), Ciara (Olivia Rose Keegan), Valerie (Vanessa Williams) and JJ (Casey Moss).

TV Guide reports that on Friday’s run of “DOOL,” Claire witnesses a warm moment between Theo and Ciara. Meanwhile, Theo and Valerie get into a heated argument after he leaves a bug in her purse. Chad and Abby, on the other hand, splurge on a family outing with Thomas. They bump into Gabi, who continues to be in a tense situation with JJ.

In the previous episode, Brady (Eric Martsolf) learned that the DNA sample he took had been tampered with, making the test results inconclusive. He shared this with Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), who turned raging mad and headed to the hospital to do something about it. At the hospital, Nancy (Patrika Darbo) brought Holly to Chloe’s (Nadia Bjorlin) room. Nancy urged her comatose daughter to wake up and tell her what to do. Nicole (Arianne Zucker) arrived and Nancy told her that she’s bringing Holly to Chicago. Nicole was devastated. She held Holly and said her goodbyes. Touched, Nancy was about to spill the truth when Deimos turned up. This prompted Nancy to storm off with the baby, leaving Nicole in an emotional state.
