'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for July 18: Hope and Rafe survive the explosion, but remain trapped in the basement

For its opening salvo this week, “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) focuses on an suspense-packed episode that promises to thrill its fans. Followers of the show were left hanging whether Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) stayed alive after the bomb explosion. Spoilers hint that the two manage to live to tell the tale but they’d be stuck in the basement and Hope would be critically hurt. It’s going to be a difficult and highly emotional episode for the two, and danger is still looming over them.

TV Guide reports that on Monday’s run of “DOOL,” fans would finally know whether Hope and Rafe would get out the secluded house alive. Meanwhile, Shawn is left handling the impact of the explosion. Blanca’s past comes back to haunt her. Elsewhere, Aiden chases after Andre.

Last week, Justin and Roman grilled Aiden about Stefano’s plans on murdering Hope. However, they couldn’t get anything incriminating and had to let Aiden go. He headed back to his inn and started throwing things out of rage. Elsewhere, Rafe pleaded with Hope to leave the basement, with only 18 minutes before the bomb explodes. However, Hope refused to go and attempted to free Rafe from his chains. With six minutes before the bomb sets off, Hope received a call from Shawn, and she told him about their situation. Shawn arrived in time to see the house explode.
