'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for June 13: Joey clings to life after getting shot in a hostage incident

“Days of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) opens the week with a suspenseful episode. On Monday, as the Johnsons head home to Salem, another tragedy strikes. After surviving Kayla’s (Mary Beth Evans) health scare, the family will find themselves entangled in a dangerous hostage situation. Spoilers hint that Joey (James Lastovic) will take the bullet during the whole ordeal.

Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the June 13 installment include Steve (Stephen Nichols), Dirk (Reiley McClendon), Jade (Paige Searcy), JJ (Casey Moss) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves).

TV Guide reports that on Monday's run of “DOOL,” JJ gives Julie a hand to move her belongings into the Horton house. Meanwhile, Joey discovers that Dirk killed a store clerk during a robbery. As the Johnsons drive back to Salem, they become involved in a hostage situation at the commune.

Last week, Hope went back to Salem and talked to Rafe. He realised that Hope already made up her mind, and it’s not him she’s choosing. Rafe graciously accepted his defeat and tells Hope to follow his heart. “You got a second chance, you gotta take it,” he said. Hope said she wants to continue being friends with her. Later, Hope met Aiden at the park. She revealed to him that she wants to pick up where they left off. This made Aiden extremely happy and he kissed her hand to show his appreciation.

Elsewhere, Deimos regained consciousness on the riverbank. He walked and arrived at a warehouse where he borrowed cellphone from a random guy. “It's Robert. I need your help,” he told someone on the phone. A little later, Chloe Lane appeared and took him home. Meanwhile, Nicole sadly went back to the river and recalled her argument with Deimos.
