Australian pop superstar Delta Goodrem showed a different side of her in talent search "The Voice."

The singer was known to sweet-as-a-pumpkin-pie and goody-two-shoes but Delta showed that she can get her game on against the three other coaches composed of international male singers.

Delta Goodrem acts as one of the coaches in the much talked about talent series of Channel 9 alongside Keith Urban, Seal and Good Charlotte's Joel Madden. In "The Voice," we saw how she battled the wits and even trash talk the other coaches.

Other coaches were taken aback by Goodrem's attitude which was sweet and flirtatious in one minute and dismissive in another. Surprising the other coaches seemed to be part of Delta's gameplan.

"Maybe it's just that people have known me since I was so young and I was really shy when I first stepped on the scene. I was always this fun, jokey, relaxed (person) with that fighting spirit, outside of music," Delta Goodrem said.

"This show has been great to just be me up on stage and have all these sides (to my personality). I'm really glad after 10 years that people are still being surprised by me," the singer added.

The 27-year-old singer said that aggression and ambition have been vital for her career. These are some of the keys how she was able to stay in the industry for so long.

At the young age of 15, Delta Goodrem shined the brightest when she topped the Australian chart with her debut album and named as the most promising young stars by Sony Music.

However, a health condition stopped short her music domination. She was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2008 and derailed her from her career path and to conquer the US music charts. After winning the battle against cancer, she moved to Los Angeles, California and recorded her fourth album.

Delta was once engaged to former Westlife's member Brian McFadden. When the engagement was called off, she found new love in the arms of Disney star Nick Jonas. The couple broke up earlier this year.
