Singer and "X-Factor" judge Demi Lovato denied reports that she and "One Direction" member Niall Horan are loosely dating. Apparently, Demi Lovato wanted to correct her current relationship status. With that, Niall Horan's fans will be delighted to find out that English boy band member is still single.

Contactmusic.com reports Demi Lovato admitted that she has feelings for the "One Direction" singer.

"He knows I have a little crush on him and we enjoy having dinner when we get the chance. We speak and message all the time. But I don't want a relationship over Skype. We are both in a place where we feel zero pressure to rush," Lovato tells Contactmusic.com. "He's a really awesome, sweet guy but Niall's not my boyfriend. I'm in a place right now where I really need to focus on myself. We share the philosophy that the right one is worth waiting for."

Even though Demi Lovato slammed the dating rumors, it does not mean that the singer is no longer interested in having a romantic relationship.

"Obviously, I'm still going to like people or love them but I need to not be in a relationship for a while because I need to be OK with being alone first," Lovato revealed.

Back in 2010, the 20-year-old "X-Factor" judge had to cancel her appearances on the Jonas Brothers tour because she went into rehab to deal with her issues on depression and eating disorder. Apparently, Demi also nursed a broken-heart after she broke up with Joe Jonas at that time.

Now that she has found a new lease in life, Demi Lovato vows to do better with her life and career. Rumor has it that Niall Horan is one of Demi Lovato's closest and trusted friends, who helped her through the hard times.
