Demi Lovato on Skype Dates with Niall Horan: 'All he does is eat in front of the camera'
Rumors about One Direction's Niall Horan dating "X-Factor" Judge, Demi Lovato continue to swirl around the web.
The two have been said to be "virtually dating" all thanks to Skype and the advancements of technology, they've been getting along pretty well. So what have these two soon-to-be love birds been talking, or in this case Skype-ing, about?
How did the Demi and Niall craze to crush to love even begin? In the height of the British boy bands' popularity, the boys of One Direction namely Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson were invited over for an interview with E!. During the interview, the boys were asked to point out from a bunch of celebrity photos that they have a crush on.
As soon as the photo of former Disney princess, Demi Lovato, showed up, Niall Horan's hand shot up in the air and pointed it directly at Demi's photo. Niall then added, "100%" to which Louis and Harry joined in and started teasing Horan.
In a separate interview with "X-Factor" judge, Demi Lovato, the singer shares the same sentiments as Horan. Demi's all out admittance of the crush was enough to make the adorable, Niall Horan blush.
"I would snog Niall. I do have a little crush on him. I love Niall, he is sooooo cute. I hear he's really sweet and he's a cutey pie!," said Lovato.
Fans would have thought that the crush would simply fade in time. However, both stars shocked fans when the truth about their Skype sessions came out in an interview with Horan and a tweet by one of Demi's back-up vocalists.
"We've spoken. She's a cool girl so I got in contact with her. She's really nice. I don't know what's going to happen," said Niall in an interview with Ryan Seacrest while Demi's back-up singer, Shari, tweeted, "NiallOfficial it was nice to meet you over Skype with @ddlovato. Are you going to come to one of our shows in the US this Summer?"
So with the cat finally out of the hat, what have these two really been talking about? Well, everyone will be surprised to know that it isn't as romantic as what they've imagined.
"They think Niall and I flirt while talking on Skype but in reality all he does is eat in front of the camera," explained Demi, adding, "We've become really close friends, and I'm really grateful that I have someone who supports me in all aspects. If I need someone to talk to, he's there. But we're not dating, I'm single."
