The Directors of 'Bel Ami' Perfect to Direct 'Fifty Shades of Grey'
The world is just about ready for some BDSM filled bed action. Given that Robert Pattinson's film "Bel Ami" is close to complete erotica, the directors might just be the perfect pair to direct E.L. James' novel "Fifty Shades of Grey".
The big question is: Will they be able to make it sexy enough as readers would expect it to be?
"Bel Ami" has already been released and some have found the time to rate Robert Pattinson's post-"Twilight" flick. Was "Bel Ami" sexy and judging from how the film fared, would Directors Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod be able to place the same "smut" into "Fifty Shades of Grey?"
Well, these are only assumptions but if Donnellan and Ormerod were chosen by Lionsgate, would their "Fifty Shades"-directed film be good enough like "Bel Ami". To answer this, then it would be best to focus on the rating of "Bel Ami".
Sex and all the things involving the deed might be the only thing that resembles "Bel Ami" with "Fifty Shades of Grey". However, given that "Fifty Shades" is a BDSM themed novel, then "Bel Ami" would be a little more subtle in terms of the "action-pumping erotica" scenes.
"There's no lesson in the film, our purpose is only to make you come out asking questions," explained Donnellan on the film "Bel Ami".
A few reviews for "Bel Ami" have already hit the web and fans have spoken up as well. While film critics rate "Bel Ami" as stale cheese, "Twi-hard" fans are screaming delight over the butt naked shots of Robert Pattinson doing it with countless women.
Taking it from that alone, the directors of "Bel Ami" might not be the only people perfect for "Fifty Shades of Grey". Robert Pattinson who plays the bachelor sleeping around in "Bel Ami" may also portray the male protagonist, Christian Grey.
Given E.L. James did base Christian Grey on "Twilight" hunk, Robert Pattinson, Robert may play the part perfectly. Plus, with all the naked scenes, Robert won't be looking to have a hard time doing the S&M filled scenes.
Still, readers of the novel can only hope plus keep fingers crossed that Lionsgate does push through with the film.
